Binfield Parish Council held their annual light switch on this week.
The local community came together at 6pm when the Revd Luke Taylor led the group in prayer. The Christmas tree lights were switched on with a very special guest – the big man himself – Santa. This was followed by carols around the tree with Michael Hawkins of the Augmented Choir and Binfield Community Choir. The Binfield Community Choir then closed the event with a few Christmas favourites!
Refreshments were available from The Foxes’ Den, Binfield Orgaisers were also collecting additional donations for the Foodbank.
