A high street car park in Bracknell town centre was cordoned off by emergency services dealing with an incident this morning (April 23). Police and the ambulance service attended the scene in which a male was found deceased. My Wokingham contacted Thames Valley Police who supplied the following statement
“At around 7am this morning officers were called to the High Street Car Park in Bracknell to reports of a fear for the welfare of a man. The man was provided with emergency care but sadly was pronounced dead at the scene. There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances regarding the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner. The man’s next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
The car park and surrounding areas were later reopened.
