Divecrew, the UK’s only Gold Star Dive Centre is offering schools, groups and businesses FREE mutli-media presentations on scuba diving and ocean conservation.

The interactive presentations are delivered by professional diving educators and can be tailored to the organisation’s specific requirements. There is no obligation whatsoever to purchase goods or services from Divecrew, this educational service is completely free.

Master instructor and chairman of the Blue Planet Academy Martin Weddell said: “Sir David Attenborough stated, ‘No one will protect what they do not care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced’.

“As divers we see first hand the destruction of the oceans. Divers generally are ambassadors for conservation, it is part of our training and make up. The Blue Planet Academy strategy is to reach out and engage with young people, in a fun but informative manner. These young people are tomorrow’s leaders and decision makers. If we can make a difference now, perhaps in the future more qualified and informed decisions will be made. There is no Planet B. We need to protect our planet now.”

Making a booking for your school, group or business organisation could not be easier. Just contact info@divecrew.co.uk Ask for Martin to get in touch regarding a Blue Planet Presentation. Give your information on your audience (numbers and age groups), primary objectives, length of presentation, date/time.

Martin said: “We have recently delivered a Blue Planet presentation to a large company in the city, presenting to 50 senior management delegates. The company wanted the presentation objectives to include sustainability. We can deliver a range of presentations to suit all manner of primary objectives. Focus can be coral, turtles, sharks, seagrass or historical such a diving wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Endless opportunities.”

Divecrew is based at Brookers Corner, Bracknell Road, Crowthorne, RG45 6ST. For more information, call 01344 771113.
