Residents are invited to take part in a sport and leisure survey that will help inform the council’s new 10-year sports and leisure strategy.
The feedback collected will help identify what currently works well and where there is room for improvement within sport and leisure provision in Bracknell Forest.
The survey encourages residents to comment on:
- their current activity levels
- the significance of physical activity in their lives
- the types of activity they do, where and when they participate, whether alone or with others, and the motivations behind their participation
- any challenges or barriers preventing them from being more active
Cllr Iskandar Jefferies, Executive Member for Culture, Delivery and Public Protection, said: “Residents’ input is absolutely vital in shaping our sports and leisure strategy. No one knows our community like you do.
“Your views will help us meet your needs, making sure that we create accessible and enjoyable opportunities for all residents to be physically active. So please do have your say.”
The strategy will be formed with help from experts and professionals from, Strategic Leisure. Strategic Leisure will also be conducting focus groups, attending local events and talking to established leisure facilities to collect data from across the borough.
Complete the survey online and share the link with friends and family to help capture the views of as many Bracknell Forest residents as possible. The survey will run until 15TH December.
