A special delivery landed at Blackbushe Airport this morning.
A spokesman for the airport said: “For all of you wondering, we had a new arrival this morning who didn’t request PPR (Prior Permission Required). Blackbushe welcomed a newborn baby right here in the car park, assisted by our firefighter Jon!”
Someone who was at the scene said: “I was there when baby arrived in a bit of a panic but all went well.
Staff at Pathfinders were awesome and quickly called firefighters and supplied towels.”
There was lots of congratulations on the airport Facebook page with the fire crew and ambulance staff praised while Jon was called a true hero.
Both mum and baby are doing well and all those involved wish them well. Congratulations!
