Residents at Bickerton House got crafty last week making some poppies in preparation for Remembrance Day.

They painted some poppy moulds and made a lovely montage of poppies in time for Remembrance Sunday.

A spokesman said: “We loved sharing their memories and stories of years gone by and especially helping them to remember their loved ones.”

They also had a visit from ‘Elvis’ who got staff and residents rocking’ and rollin’ with some songs from a bygone era – but now Elvis has left the building!

Bickerton House is a nursing home providing high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care based in Warfield Road, Bracknell.
