The Bracknell Forest Lottery had a jackpot winner last month, with an incredible £25,000.00 being won!

Nicola, the jackpot winner, said:

“I am stunned, shocked, amazed and in disbelief that I have won this amount of money! This means I’m able to pay off a couple of things, help to concentrate on my health after an operation, and have a nice Christmas.

“In October, I very nearly didn’t renew my numbers due to money being tight, but I thought of the charities then losing out on my £2 a week, so made it work.

“I support SERV OBN because it is a nice way of showing support, with the added bonus of possibly winning something. The Bracknell Forest Lottery was shared on Facebook, so I had a read up about how it works and thought it was a nice way of helping other charities too, not just SERV OBN. Never in a million years did I think I’d win the jackpot!

“I’d tell anyone who is considering playing the Bracknell Forest Lottery, to go for it! I never thought I’d win, as I don’t win anything normally, but it’s £1 a go and helps such great causes.”

Cllr Mary Temperton, Leader of Bracknell Forest Council, said:

“I’d like to say a huge congratulations to Nicola for winning the Bracknell Forest Lottery! We hope you enjoy spending the money and have a very Merry Christmas.

“The lottery has just celebrated its fourth birthday, so it’s a fantastic time to have a £25,000, jackpot winner! We are very proud of our lottery and what it has achieved since it began in 2019.”

Bracknell Forest Lottery is designed to help local not-for-profit charities and organisations fundraise for their good cause all year round in a safe, fun and effective way. There are weekly cash prizes to be won, including the £25,000 jackpot!

Players can buy a ticket and support the local community. There are currently 97 registered causes to choose from when purchasing your tickets. The chosen cause receives 50 per cent of the £1 ticket, with an extra 10 per cent going to further support the local community.

If you know a local charity or good cause that may benefit from fundraising, or you would like to buy a ticket, you can find out more on the Bracknell Forest Lottery website or call 01344 590321.

You must be 18 and over, always play responsibly.
