There was a very special visitor at Bracknell Library on Saturday! Sheila worked for the library service not long after it opened in 1971 and left in 1979 to care for her newborn granddaughter who is now also a Librarian at the library!
She worked at Bracknell and Harmans Water and although she left 45 years ago she remembers her time with fond memories. Sheila, who is now 90 years young, has lived in Bracknell for 64 years, and said that her favourite job ever was working for the library service.
