In an exciting development for the cheerleading community in Bracknell and Wokingham, two renowned local cheerleading teams, Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars, have joined forces to create Platinum Artemis Studios.
This merger marks a significant milestone in the local sports and dance landscape, promising expanded opportunities for athletes and enhanced support for families. Artemis Cheer, known for its award-winning teams and commitment to excellence, approached Platinum Allstars, a respected local team with a shared ethos of high-quality training and a family-centric approach. After more than a decade of friendly rivalry at cheerleading events, the CEOs of both organisations saw an opportunity to combine their strengths for the benefit of their athletes and the community.
Effective at the conclusion of the competition season in July 2024, Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars will operate under the unified banner of Platinum Artemis Studios. This strategic alliance will bring together double the coaching talent, offering athletes a pathway for progression and families comprehensive back-office support.
Prior to the official merger, both programs will continue to compete independently, with mutual support at events. Additionally, to celebrate the collaboration, 200 cheerleaders will have the opportunity to participate in a free week-long workshop programme during the May school holiday at Bracknell Gym. This initiative will provide participants with the combined expertise of coaches from both Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars.
