Bracknell Town Council hosted a skate competition at Mill Park recently.
The competition was for BMX and scooters as well as skate boards with gift vouchers awarded as prizes. The judges included Harry Tidwell (RouteOne sponsored) and Matty from TREK.
A spokesman said: “Wow! What an awesome day! Thanks to everyone who came to compete, you are all so talented! Well done to the winners Shane, Cayden, Mathew, Ace, Leo and Max! We loved seeing so many people come to cheer the competitors on and so many people came to talk to us about the new pump track.
Special thanks to judges Matty from Trek, Tyler Hainey mega scooter star and Bracknell Town Mayor Simon Carter for joining us! Thanks to Trek and McDonald’s for donating prizes.”
One person said: “Massive shout out to The Wayz Youth Centre and Bracknell Town Council for putting on such a great event at the skate park. Felt so good to have something local to attend and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. Lovely morning.”
