The team from Søstrene Grene helped kick off The Lexicon’s Advent Calendar Appeal in aid of Bracknell Foodbank.
Last year, thanks to the kind donations of retailers and the local community, 300 advent calendars were donated to Bracknell Foodbank to distribute to families in Bracknell.
This year, it is hoped that the appeal will enable 400 advent calendars to be donated, to give even more local families a festive treat.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon said: “We know, from previous campaigns run with Bracknell Foodbank, that an unexpected treat, can really make a positive difference.
“We will be encouraging all our fabulous retail and restaurant team members to get involved again this year and hope that everyone might consider buying an extra advent calendar to donate, when purchasing their own.”
Running until Sunday, November 17th, visitors can donate an advent calendar to a local family via The Lexicon Giving Box located in Princess Square.
