The Lexicon has secured the arrival of popular retailer Dunelm, to the town centre.
Dunelm, the UK’s leading homewares retailer, will be coming to Princess Square and is anticipated to open in Spring 2025, bringing 30 new jobs to the area, including 20 store colleagues.
Founded in 1979 the retailer has grown from a market stall in Leicester to a nationwide brand supplying UK shoppers with high quality homeware. The new store will stock a wide range of products ranging from bedding, lighting, bathroom, rugs and kitchenware.

“Bucking the national trend, our footfall grew by more than 10 per cent in the first half of 2024, and we expect the popularity of these new retailers to help increase visitor numbers even further in 2025.”
