Popeyes® UK has announced that it will be bringing the flavours of New Orleans to Bracknell with the launch of its new restaurant in The Lexicon at 11am on Friday 24th January.

Marking its second location in Berkshire and 68th nationwide, Popeyes® UK will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its New Orleans hospitality with exciting giveaways for locals to get their hands on the world-famous Popeyes® Chicken Sandwiches for free.

To celebrate the opening, on launch day the first three people in the queue will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a full year*. Plus, the first 100 customers will be treated to a free Chicken Sandwich, exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise, and live entertainment from the Brass Funkeys.

At Popeyes® first Berkshire opening in Reading in 2023, fans queued overnight to be the first to try the legendary Chicken Sandwich, with Popeyes® UK advising customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the epic giveaways this time around.

From 24th January, fried chicken fans in Bracknell will be able to get a taste of the full Popeyes® menu, including fan-favourites like the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, crispy Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ. Plus for a limited time only, Popeyes® is bringing back its popular Buffalo Ranch Sandwich which is slathered with hot Buffalo sauce, cool Ranch, fresh pickles and served in a warm brioche bun.

Each piece of chicken is marinated for 12 hours on-site in its signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘shatter crunch,’ complemented by tasty extras like Biscuits and Cajun Gravy.

Popeyes® will also be serving up its breakfast menu from 8am on Saturday 25th January. Packed with British breakfast classics with a Louisiana twist, the menu features the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits.

Breakfast will be available 8am until 11am every day, and will even include a Breakfast meal deal for just £1.99—consisting of the Bacon Breakfast roll, a Cajun Hash Brown and a drink—which can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app, available to download here now.

Tom Crowley, Popeyes® UK Chief Executive Officer said: “We’re pleased to confirm that our highly anticipated Bracknell restaurant will officially open its doors on Friday 24th January. Following the success of our restaurant in Reading, bringing another Popeyes to Berkshire has been on our list for a while, and we’re looking forward to reaching even more people to give them the taste of our famous Shatter-Crunchin’ fried chicken.”

The new Bracknell restaurant will be located at 45 High Street, Bracknell, RG12 1EA and brings 60 new jobs to the local area. Plans include 38 seats indoors and eight outside, self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.

To stay updated, visit the Popeyes® UK website or follow the brand on Instagram at @PopeyesUK or TikTok at @Popeyesuk.
