Bracknell Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led, not-for-profit partnership established in 2020 to enhance the trading environment in the Southern and Western Business Areas of Bracknell, known as the ‘BID Area’. The BID funds projects and initiatives that directly benefit businesses within the area, reflecting their needs, while fostering continuous investment and supporting growth.
What is a Business Improvement District (BID)?
A Business Improvement District is a defined area within which rate-paying businesses decide on new improvements to help transform their area – and then vote to agree the investment. This money is then ring-fenced to provide the improvements agreed through the BID strategy.
Bracknell BID is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that ensures fair and balanced representation from all sectors. With over £3 million to be invested during the current term, Bracknell BID is dedicated to supporting the prosperity and continued success of the local business community.
