An extra helping of festive cheer will be greeting visitors to The Lexicon on Saturday, when seven schools take to the stage in Bond Square for a Christmas choir concert.
Children from the following schools will be taking part:
- Cranbourne School
- Crown Wood
- Harmans Water
- Holly Spring
- Owlsmoor
- The Pines
- St Joseph’s
The children have been working hard with Richard Whennell, choir master of Vocalese, to prepare a festive concert for shoppers. The event will start at 3.30pm and finish around 5pm with all choirs on stage for a grand finale.
Cllr Paul Bidwell, executive member for economic development and regeneration, said: “The Lexicon is not just a town centre but the heart of Bracknell Forest. This event is another collaboration between the council and the team at The Lexicon to bring festive cheer to our residents. Please pop down to the town on Saturday to support the choirs and sing along.”
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon, said: “We are thoroughly looking forward to hosting the schools’ Christmas choir concert again this year. It was extremely popular with our customers last year and got everyone in the festive spirit.”
