Mark from Sustrans led a group of residents on the 400th Walk for Wellbeing on Tuesday. The group set off from The Foxes’ Den Cafe in Binfield, taking in Pope’s Meadow and the ancient woodland at Farley Copse.
To extend the celebration of this milestone, residents are invited to join in with the Braybrooke walk on Thursday, 30th January. This new walk will take you out from the town centre along the Quelm Lane green corridor, over The Splash, and into Larks Hill. You will then retrace your tracks back via Braybrooke recreation ground. Meet at Brew Coffee Bar in Town Square, Bracknell at 2.30pm. Most of this walk is on shared use paths, gravel tracks and woodland trails. This walk is suitable for wheelchairs, strollers or buggies, but as it is winter paths may be muddy. No dogs.
If you haven’t tried one of the walks before – this is a good time to start!
