A display of Christmas lights in two roads in Bracknell have raised nearly £12,000 for charity.
Neighbours banded together in Kingfisher Chase and Dipper Lea in Jennett’s Park and after a flurry of last minute donations the total has hit £11,983 with gift aid.
A spokesman said: “We all wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone that has visited and those that have donated. It has been such a huge pleasure meeting you all enjoying the festive spirit! We’re rather staggered by the level of donations this year for the Alzheimer’s Society, words can’t express how grateful we all are!
“It was also amazing to see how many houses on Jennett’s Park had got into the Christmas spirit! The effort for Swift Fields and Bunting Lane was one not to be missed! It’s just getting bigger each year through the whole community! So for the Christmas period of 2024, we all say thank you and see you next December!”
There’s still time to donate if you wish here..
